Who is behind Electric Fig?
Electric Fig is run by Demetri Petrou, its founder, from Paphos, Cyprus. He has worked in communications and marketing since 2007 and runs the agency alone.

I started my career in 2007 and spent most of it in in-house communications roles at large organisations, from a London hospital trust to LEGO, Amazon, Burberry and Channel 4. Most of that time went on one question: how do you say something clearly to a lot of people, so that they act on it?
Then I moved to Paphos and started my own company, Spitiko Property Services, which manages holiday rentals for villa and apartment owners. I built its website myself, and it reached the first page of Google. When I checked on 30 October 2026 it was the third result for “Airbnb management Paphos”.
Partners and other owners kept asking who built the site and how to get the same result, and Electric Fig grew from that. I build websites, set up Google Maps and AI-search visibility, run social media and automate routine work for small businesses in Cyprus. I work with NP Accountancy and K. Karakosta Q.S. and look after the Spitiko brand.
